✨ Leg day staples ✨ Next in my favourite exercises series is leg day! Now I love pretty much all leg day exercises but had to whittle it down to a few favs. DISCLAIMER: My workout split is legs, booty, push, pull and full body. This is my LEG day favs so don’t be alarmed by the lack of booty focussed workouts. I hit these heavy on booty day. These are workouts to target my quads and hamstrings mainly. Here’s my fav leg day exercises: 1️⃣ Romanian deadlifts- I love these. Go heavy, keep your back straight, slight bend in the knee and feel the stretch 😍 2️⃣ Squats- wouldn’t be a leg day without squats! I prefer sumo stance as it’s just more comfy for me! Go heavy and add a band for added resistance. (The squat rack is always busy at my gym so often have to go a little lighter with these preloaded weights🙄) - 3️⃣ Leg press- again a heavy exercise. Push yourselves to go heavy. Placing the legs shoulder width apart really targets the quads SUPERSET WITH 4️⃣ Single leg press- I like to superset leg press with single leg press to really burn out the muscle! You may notice a lack of deadlift. Tbh I hate them, they’re really uncomfortable for me so don’t do them very often.
